After watching (twice) the Krazy Coupon Lady's YouTube video on couponing at Walgreens, I was ready to go for it! Armed with my Sunday ad, my stash of coupons, and a strategy for two-three transactions, I maneuvered my way through the store. Unfortunately, they were out of a few of the items on my list. Since it was Thursday, I knew going into it that some of the great deals would be out of stock.
So, here's how I did...
Transaction 1: Four 2-packs of Gerber baby food ($1.39 each), one box of Barilla penne pasta (99 cents on sale), one jumbo pack of Huggies Little Movers ($8.99 on sale), and Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor Kit ($9.99 on sale). Total was $27.67. After coupons, I paid $9.64. I used 3 $3 Register Rewards, $1 off 4 Gerber coupon, $2 off Huggies, and $4 off razor coupon. Then, I received $6 in Register Rewards for the razor and the diapers.
Transaction 2: Two canisters of Gerber puffs ($2.99 each), and two packages of Gerber snacks ($2.50 each). Then I used the $4 and $2 RR from the previous transaction, as well as two 65-cents-off-two Gerber manufacturer coupons. Total was $11.91. After coupons, I paid $2.70.
Total savings: I purchased $39.58 worth of products, and I paid $12.34 after coupons!
