TEACHER APPRECIATION

My daughter and I have spent the past semester in a weekly Mommy & Me class at a local community center. It is a great introduction to the structure of school and learning to following direction; not only for my daughter, but for me too! Our teacher has been so wonderful and she gives so much love and attention to each child in the class. I wanted to let her know how much we both appreciate her.

After reading through several ideas online, it seems that teachers want practical gifts that they can use in the classroom, but most of all they want gifts from the heart. Of all the ideas I found, I thought an apron would be a great gift since we have craft and snack time each day. But not just any apron.....a very special, personalized apron!

With much practice, we got a pretty good hand print! Then I stamped out our teacher's name and added a glittery heart stamp to the palm of the hand print. We also included a small bouquet of flowers and some nice hand lotion. I am pleased with how it turned out, and most importantly, our teacher loved it!
