Toddler Activity: Color Sorting with Toys
Here's an easy activity for your toddler or pre-schooler:
Gather up some of your colorful toddler toys (we used Mega Bloks, Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Rock-a-Stack Rings, and Fisher-Price Snap Lock Beads) and some colored containers. Let your little one practice matching and sorting his/her colors by using items you already have around the house! It's fun to present toys in new combinations and in new contexts to get that little brain thinking!

ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for us! I started working on colors with my little bean last week. Absolutely brilliant! Looks like I'm heading to the dollar store to get some colored containers tomorrow. Thank you for sharing this on my link up. I'm looking forward to seeing what you share next week :) I'm also a new follower too!
